AFCO Steel Industries is a part of M.Abdul Qayoum Fazal Muhammad Group. This group was established in 1931 in the Indian district of Jallundher and at that time incorporated two of the leading steel mills and a large trading house in that region. At the time of partition in 1947, the company moved to Lahore and continued in the steel trade. The company now incorporates one of the most modern steel re-rolling units in Pakistan that produces quality controlled and tested Cold Twisted Deformed steel bars (TOR Grade 60) and Deformed Grade 40 & 60 steel bars. The raw materials that are used for the production of AFCO Steel’s products are carefully selected and procured from leading steel companies around the globe or from the Pakistan Steel Mills.

The finished product is also subjected to the same standards of quality control and is rigorously tested before being dispatched, at England's Avery mechanical testing machines and Italy's Spectromaxx chemical testing equipment that are installed at AFCO's laboratory.
